He’s now one of the most respected icons of surfing ever. 3x world titles, overcoming physical and mental obstacles, plus a power-surfing game like no one are his signatures. We’ll always remember him for his no-nonsense feedback though, like “nah, that traction is sh*t, let’s go with this grid pattern.”

Italo is like surfing’s Batman and Joker rolled into one - fearless in a battle, throws chaotic fun at every opportunity, is a hero to all, yet nemesis to his opponents when the heat is on. He flew, tunneled, ripped and hacked his way to his first world title in 2019 with true comic flair. We’re so stok-ed to have played a small role in that and love having Italo as part of the Família de Criaturas.
